As Karisma Kapoor turns 45, Malaika Arora, Sonam Kapoor and other celebs shower her with warm wishes

Tinsel town's favourite Karisma Kapoor has turned 45 today. Her pals from the industry took to social media and showered the actress with warm birthday wishes.

Karisma Kapoor is one of the most loved actresses in the tinsel town and there is no denying the fact. With the 1991 movie Prem Qaidi, the diva stepped foot in the film industry and over the years, she has worked in many hit films including Raja Babu, Andaz Apna Apna, Coolie No. 1, Hum Saath-Saath Hain and Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge. Karisma is celebrating her 45th birthday today and since morning her pals from the film industry have been posting heartfelt posts on social media to make her day even more special. 

Sharing a cuddly photo with the birthday girl, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor wrote, " My dearest Lolo! Sending you all the love and light on your special day. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday @therealkarismakapoor."

Designer Manish Malhotra shared a glamours photo of Karisma to mark her birthday. He captioned his post, "The very gorgeous @therealkarismakapoor happy birthday .. with the 29 years of working together and being friends you have defined focus, hard work and each and every time redefined Style ... love always my dearest lolo." 

Actress Athiya Shetty also shared a cute birthday post for Karisma. She wrote, "Happy birthday my forever favourite!! @therealkarismakapoor love and happiness always." 

Karisma is currently in London and is celebrating her birthday with her family including sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and mother Babita Kapoor. 

On the work front, On the work front, Karisma has been away from the big screen for a while now. Her last film as a leading lady was Dangerous Ishhq (2012) but she has made cameo appearances in films like Bombay Talkies and Zero
