Bhopal: Youth barges into minor's house and harasses her in front of her mother

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly molested and harassed by a youth in front of her mother in Chhola, Bhopal. Though a case against the accused has been registered, he has not been arrested yet.

Bhopal: In an appalling case reported, a teenager was sexually harassed in the presence of her mother. Allegedly, the teenager was sexually harassed by a youth in front of her mother on Friday. The incident took place in Chhola, Bhopal. Allegedly, this was not the first time that the youth had sexually harassed the victim. The accused barged into the victim's house and harassed her in front of her mother. 

The 16-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a youth inside her house, in front of her mother. Allegedly, this was not the first time that the accused had molested the victim. Scared of tarnishing the image of the victim and her family, the victim's parents stayed mum in relation to the case and did not register any complaints previously.

According to the Times of India's report, the youth entered the victim's house on Friday and sexually harassed her. The accused sexually harassed the victim in the presence of her mother. However, when the accused threatened the mother and the victim, the family decided to report the incident. 

The family filed a complaint in the Chhola Mandir police station. The victim is a student of class 9 and was acquainted with the accused. One day, when the victim was returning from school, the accused stopped her and harassed her sexually. Though the victim shared her ordeal with her parents, they chose to ignore it. However, when the accused entered the victim's house and harassed her again, the family lodged a complaint with the police. The accused has not been arrested yet.
