Rajasthan: Doctor, compounder use obscene video to blackmail, gang-rape nurse
The victim, who was working as a nurse at a private hospital in Rajasthan's Barmer, was gang-raped by the hospital's compounder, doctor and his brother. Police have booked all the three accused.

Barmer: In yet another shameful incident, a nurse employed with a private hospital in Rajasthan's Barmer district was gang-raped and blackmailed by three hospital staff for over a year. The accused include a compounder, a doctor and his brother.
Based on the complaint of the victim, the police have initiated a probe in the case. The compounder first drugged the nurse and raped her. He also recorded the act with his mobile camera and later used it to blackmail the woman.
According to a report, the victim, who was married, usually worked in night shifts at the private hospital. One night her colleague, who is identified as Ashok, came to her restroom at the hospital and offered her a glass of juice.
The nurse lost consciousness after drinking the juice which was reportedly spiked with sedatives. Later, the accused compounder raped the victim and filmed the heinous act. He also used the video to blackmail and rape her repeatedly.
After some months, another man Dr Surendra Maharshi, who also worked at the same hospital, accompanied the compounder and informed the nurse that he knows about the 'sex' video and blackmailed her.
The doctor also raped the victim by threatening her to make the video viral on the Internet. A few days later, the doctor's brother also got to know about the incident and he too raped the victim.
All three accused raped the nurse repeatedly by blackmailing her with the video. The woman was also threatened with job loss when she told the accused that she would inform the authorities about the rape and assault.
Finally, Dr Surendra Maharshi asked the nurse to leave the hospital when she went for her duty on August 16.
The victim later narrated the incident to her family and the matter was reported to the police. Police have filed cases against all the accused.
Police officer rape woman, blackmail her with video
The Jind police arrested the station house officer (SHO) of the Sadar Police Station on August 11 for allegedly raping a 25-year-old woman. The accused also blackmailed the woman with a video of the act and repeatedly asked her for sexual favours. Police registered a case in the matter and the accused was then arrested from Gurugram. Later, he was remanded to three-day police custody. The case was transferred to Gurugram police for investigation.
