‘Lady don’ Asmitaba Gohil, who operates in Gujarat’s Surat, was allegedly assaulted by her former boyfriend Sanjay Vaghel as he was angry at her for ending their relationship.

Surat: Self-confessed ‘lady don’ Bhuri aka Asmitaba Gohil (22), who operates in Surat’s Varachha area, was allegedly assaulted by her former boyfriend Sanjay Baghela, also a criminal. On Friday, Gohil approached the Varachha Police Station and filed a complaint against Vaghela accusing him of heckling and threatening her. Reportedly, Vaghela was furious as Gohil had ended her relationship with him and allegedly began dating another man, identified as Rahul, who belongs to her gang.

Lady don was at her friend's house

According to the details mentioned in the complaint, the incident took place at around 10 am on Thursday at Rahul’s residence in Varsha Society where Gohil was present. Vaghela arrived there and assaulted her as he was angry at her for ending their relationship. He also threatened her against getting into a relationship with anyone else. The incident left Gohil scared. She chose to stay at Rahul’s home on Thursday night.

Ahmedabad Mirror reported that Vaghela came back to Rahul’s house on Friday afternoon. He started banging on the door with an iron rod and later damaged Gohil’s two-wheeler with the same rod. As Gohil came out of the house, Vaghela allegedly slapped her two times after which she dialled the local police.

Gangster hospitalised due to leg injury

In an attempt to escape, Vaghel jumped off the first floor. He has suffered a leg injury and is presently being administered treatment at a hospital. Varachha PI BN Sagar told AI, “There are several cases against the woman. She was with her friend when the accused threatened her.” An investigation into the matter is underway, he added.

Another incident: Gangster kills 8 UP cops

Dreaded Gangster Vikas Dubey and his henchmen shot eight police personnel to death and injured six others within the limits of Chaubeypur Police Station in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur in the wee hours of Friday. Police arrested Daya Shankar Agnihotri, an associate of Dubey on Sunday morning. Agnihotri revealed that somebody from Chaubeypur Police Station had informed Dubey about the police party coming to arrest him.
