New Delhi: In a shocking and heart-wrenching incident, a hungry man was found eating a dead dog somewhere near Jaipur in Rajasthan. 

Though it is hard to pinpoint the location, the video was reportedly shot somewhere near Delhi-Jaipur highway. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

With no food to eat, the desperate man was spotted consuming the meat of the dead dog. The visuals are enough to shake anybody's conscience and highlight the desperate situations on the highways of India amid the coronavirus lockdown. 

Recently, lakhs of migrants have moved to their respective states on foot for want of public transport amid the lockdown. 

The incident has highlighted the desperate situations of the people amid the lockdown and how difficult it is getting for the poor to arrange the food.

Good samaritan comes to rescue of man

Another video is circulating on the internet where a passerby could be seen handing the man a packet of food and water. 

In the video, the man could be heard saying he was heading to Delhi when he saw the man consuming the meat of the dead dog. He then parked his car nearby and provided food to the man. 

Migrant workers' travails

In another incident, two migrant women labourers delivered babies in a truck and train. A woman belonging to a group of UP migrant labourers returning from Mumbai delivered a baby in a truck near Biaora town in Madhya Pradesh on May 15.

Another case of a woman delivering a baby in labourers special train was reported from Satna in Madhya Pradesh. The UP resident was travelling in the train from Aurangabad with husband Brajesh Jaiswal. After the train left Maihar, she went into labour and gave birth to the baby near Uchhara. Other women in the helped her in the delivery.
