Srinagar Ground Report: Despite disruption by Pakistani forces; Valley resumes to normalcy

Following the invasion of the Indian air space by the Pakistan Air Force, various states were kept on high alert. Schools and colleges near the border remained shut as civilians were asked to go to safe places.

Srinagar: The after-effects of growing tension between India and Pakistan can be seen in various regions of the country. Among the areas most adversely affected is Jammu and Kashmir. The disruption by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) continued in the Valley, putting the lives of civilians in danger. 

The people residing in the Valley did not have any petrol or even food items for days. Various parts of Kashmir remained shut owing to the extreme weather conditions. Tremendous snowfall in the region led to a deficit of necessities in the area.

Mirror Now did a ground check and found out that in a big relief for the citizens in Srinagar, 40 tankers of fuel reached the Valley. While the weather has already caused discomfort to the people, the Pakistani defence forces continued shelling in Jammu sector. Following the air space violation by the Pakistan Air Force, the administration had shut down air traffic in the state, the order was later revoked as the situation went beck to normal. 

The J&K police and the NIA continued executing raids in various areas to tap into the agencies and individuals who fund terrorist organisations. The police managed to track towers and high internet facility set up by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a crackdown. The NIA will summon Mirwaiz to get to the bottom of the matter. 

The residents in Srinagar were asked to go to a safer place as the schools and colleges near the border remained shut. However, in the Srinagar valley, special caution is being taken in the Kamalkote region which is near Uri and is an army protected region.
