Swaminarayan Akshardham

The temple has been built on a grand scale and was open to the public in 2005. Popularly known as Akshardham, the temple is a sight to behold with its intricate carvings. The banks of Yamuna add to the green cover around the temple and enhance its beauty.

Lotus Temple

This iconic temple was opened in 1986 and is considered as an architectural marvel with a capacity to let-in 2,500 devotees. The Lotus Temple is the place of worship for the Bahá’í religion but people of all faiths are allowed to come and pray. 

Hanuman Mandir, CP

This Hanuman temple is etched in the history of India as it is an ancient place of worship that even found mention in the great text Mahabharata. Located in central Delhi, the temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas to worship the mighty god hanuman.

Chhattarpur Temple

This magnificent temple is spread across 70 acres and is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani. A popular destination with devotees, the temple is an amalgamation of both north and south Indian architecture. There are a total of 20 different temples that make up the entirety of the Chhattarpur Temple complex.

Kalkaji Temple

As the name suggests, the Kalkaji temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali. The temple was built in 1764 and for centuries, has attracted visitors from all over the world. The temple is particularly crowded during Navratris.

Sai Baba Temple

This serene temple is said to be the oldest Sai Baba mandir in the national capital. The main hall of this temple is graced with a big idol of Sai Baba and sitting there surely evokes a sense of peace and happiness.

Shri Sheetla Mata Mandir

This temple is one of the most famous ones in Delhi-NCR and is situated near the Gurugram Railway Station. The idol of Sheetla Mata, wife of Guru Dronacharya, is situated in the main hall and devotees offer flowers and prayers here.

ISKCON Temple

The ISKCON Temple is synonymous with Lord Krishna devotees and millions come here to pray to their beloved god. The temple is located on the Hare Krishna Hill in East of Kailash and was conceptualised by architect Achyut Kanvinde.

Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir

This 17th-century structure is situated near the Red Fort and can be easily seen from afar. It is a sight to see from the Metro with trees surrounding the structure. The temple is built with red stone and is a peaceful place of worship.

Uttara Swami Malai Temple

This temple is an example of Chola architecture and is dedicated to the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati - Swaminathan, also known as Murugan. The temple was opened to the public in 1965 and millions have offered prayers since then.
