Patna Pirates demolished the Puneri Paltan  53-36 in an Inter Zonal match at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag. Pardeep Narwal was incredible form in the match as he picked up an astonishing 28 points. He also became the first player in the PKL history to record 800 raid points. Patna consolidated their second position in the table with 51 points from 17 matches. For Puneri Paltan, GB More had a good game as he picked up a super-10 with 13 points. But Puneri Paltan are not out of the race for playoffs with this loss.

22:19 IST: The match is over. Patna Pirates win the match 53-36. With this loss, Puneri Paltan are officially out of the playoffs race.

22:17 IST: Pardeep had 1 raid point in the last match against Gujarat Fortunegiants but he has more than made up for that after picking 27 points. And finally Pardeep is stopped.

22:01 IST: A do or die raid for Puneri Paltan and they are unsuccessful. Pardeep gets a point again and it takes him to 18 for the night.

21:44 IST: Super tackle is on for Patna but they don't get it. Pardeep Narwal is stupendous, he gets another point for Patna. They score is 23-19 in favour of Patna.

21:43 IST: Amit Kumar gets a Super Raid. His three points has just reduced Patna's lead to three and he has gone for a review. Amit wants four and he gets. What a Raid by Amit Kumar. Where was this gem hiding. Single-handedly has brought Puneri Paltan back into the match. 

21:39 IST: Pardeep is out and but Patna get a super tackle and two points. Manjeet gets the tackle and he is proving to be a handy all-rounder. Patna lead 19-15.

21:37 IST: Puneri Paltan have reduced the lead to just 3 points but Pardeep Narwal has his 12th Super-10 in just ten minutes.

21:33 IST: Pardeep Narwal is on fire today. He has his 8th raid and Patna are running away with it.
