The new Xiaomi Redmi 7 series will likely have three models namely - Xiaomi Redmi 7A, Redmi 7 and Redmi 7 Pro - much like the Redmi 6 series. Based on initial reports, the new Xiaomi Redmi 7 series will be priced around the same price range as Redmi 6 series.

To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 was launched in India with a price in India of Rs. 7,999 for the 32GB storage model and went up till Rs. 9,499 for the 64GB model. Similarly, the Xiaomi Redmi 6A price in India started at Rs. 5,999 for the 16GB model and Rs. 6,999 for the 32GB storage model. Lastly, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro price in India started at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM version and 4GB RAM model was launched at Rs. 12,999. Xiaomi may have just revealed its Redmi 6 series in India but if a new report is to be believed then the Redmi 7 series could launch soon. The new Xiaomi Redmi 7 series has been spotted at China's Compulsory Certificate or popularly known as 3C certification. Spotted first by Nashville Chatter, Xiaomi's new Redmi 7 series could include three models - Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro, similar to the Redmi 6 series.

As is the case with certification websites, the Redmi 7 series complete specifications haven't been listed yet but the report claims that the Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro models will support fast charging.

The report spotted three new Xiaomi branded smartphones on the 3C website with models numbers M1901F7E, M1901F7T, and M1901F7C. It adds that since Redmi 6 series came with model numbers starting with M18, the new models could very well be the new Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro.

Talking about expected pricing of the new Redmi 7 series, the new Redmi series could very well be around the Redmi 6 series pricing in India. Some of the features we expect that the Redmi 7 series will come with include Face Unlock, fast charging support, expandable storage, and dual VoLTE support.
