Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls celebrate national week with activities

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls will celebrate Boys & Girls Club Week, April 22-26

Southeast Boys and Girls Club members sit down for their Kid's Cafe meals supplied by the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.

The week is meant to celebrate the positive impact the Clubs bring to the local community and invite local residents to visit and learn more about the programs being offered to youth ages 6-18.

Activities include:  

  • Central Boys & Girls Club Locker Room Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Tuesday, April 23
  • Splash Day, Wednesday, April 24.

Contact local branches for more information. The 67th Annual Recognition Dinner will take place at The Stone Palace on Thursday, April 25, and our annual MSU Chemistry Fair will be on Friday, April 26.  

“The week provides an opportunity to showcase our programs and services we provide to the local community. We invite the general public to attend our events and visit our facilities” said Randy Cooper, executive director.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls has been an integral part of the community for 90 years.  Its six locations provide services to more than 5,200 boys and girls, ages 6-18, in the key areas of Education & Career Development, Character & Leadership Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness, & Recreation.
