MILWAUKEE — The first zero-waste, bulk grocery store the city has seen is coming to Milwaukee this year.
Glass Pantry is moving into Walker's Point at 1039 S. 5th St.
It will sell dry and liquid goods like nuts, seeds, spices, oil, syrup and other food items. The store will also sell hygiene products, cleaning supplies, reusable straws and other household items.
Owner Jenna Meier announced the shop's debut on the Glass Pantry Facebook page.
Customers can bring their own bags or use the paper bags provided by the store.
Milwaukee has stores that have bulk-good sections, but none that solely focus on those products and are zero-waste.
