A demonstration organizers billed as a “Freedom Rally” took place at the New Jersey State House thursday afternoon in Trenton.

Almost 200 people were in attendance to call for an end to mask rules and business closures and listen to a dozen scheduled speakers.

Social distancing and masks were not in play at the rally, but plenty of conservative and alt-right signs and garments were donned by attendees as they openly ridiculed anyone wearing masks at the event, including a Trentonian journalist.
