TRENTON – A man was found dead in Assunpink Creek on Tuesday, officials said.
A police spokesman didn’t immediately respond to a phone call seeking additional details, but sources said first responders were called out this afternoon for a rescue attempt and found a 42-year-old man floating in the creek, which cuts through the Mill Hill Park.
It’s unclear how long he had been there. Foul play isn’t suspected as the man may have suffered from an overdose, according to sources.
His name was not released.
