National vice-president of BJP Avinash Rai Khanna said the decision on lockdown by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on point. Khanna, who was in the city on the completion of BJP’s one year at the Centre, said, had the lockdown not been announced on time, the outcome would have been disastrous.

Khanna also said there were habitual complainers who always tried to oppose all policies and actions of the Modi Government, without applying their mind on serious issues. Khanna was here as a part of the BJP campaign to highlight the achievements of the Modi government during its one year stint in the second tenure. Avinash Rai Khanna who is also the BJP in-charge of the Jammu & Kashmir government when was asked about the possibility of the elections in the state, said the delimitation of the assembly segments was already in progress and would be followed by the elections.

He even targeted state government for not announcing economic package for the state to help its people in distress. During the past one year, many development works took place all over the country.
