An American bloke has scored himself a free meal after pretending to get stood-up on Valentine’s Day.

Stephen, the dateless wonder, attempted to see how far he could go to get a free meal detailing his hilarious experience on Twitter.

“If I went to Outback Steakhouse by myself tonight and asked for a table for 2, then got progressively sadder as the night went on alone, do you think they’d give me my steak for free?” He tweeted as his night began.

He then waited 45-minutes for a table, before things really started to get interesting.

Outback Steakhouse then hit back on Twitter offering him another free meal, on one condition.
