New seats have become available for Johnny Reid’s New Year’s Eve Kitchen Party at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre (REEC).
“We have opened up approximately 200 new seat options, including the addition of new bar stool seats with countertops on the main concourse,” RECC general manager Matt Moore said.
“This show is surely to be a sellout and our biggest concert yet surpassing over 3000 fans.”
Besides, Reid, a Juno Award-winning singer/songwriter, the New Year’s Eve bash will also include the Halifax-based, Port Cities, a five-time Nova Scotia Music Award winning band and Matt Minglewood of North Sydney, an East Coast Music Award winner in his own right.
“I’m so happy to be coming to the east coast to ring in the New Year,” Reid said, in a news release. “They tell me there’s not a party better than an east coast kitchen party. Count me in.”
Tickets for the Dec. 31 show, which start at $59.75 plus taxes and fees, are available at the RECC welcome desk, online at ticketpro.ca, at any TicketPro outlet, or by phone at 1-888-311-9090.
The event is for ages 19 and older, and the doors open at 9 p.m.
To add to the excitement of the evening, the RECC has partnered with Sell-Off Vacations to offer a $2,000 travel voucher to one lucky ticket purchaser. A seat will be selected at random and the seat number will be posted on the event website and social media page.
