Two robbery suspects arrested Thursday are accused of following a victim home from a convenience store and robbing him at gunpoint.

Emily Lula Puckett, 35, and Robert James Church, 29, who live together in Moundville, were each charged with first-degree robbery.

The victim, who lives on Vassie Drive in Holt, told officers a woman approached him at 11 p.m. March 31 and asked for money in the parking lot of the Lucky Dollar store.

Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office investigators who watched surveillance video saw the woman return to the passenger seat of a gray Mustang that followed the victim's vehicle from the parking lot, according to court records.

The victim reported that once he returned to his home, the woman from the store forced him to his knees and pointed a gun at the back of his head before taking $100, his debit card and wallet.

Puckett and Church were arrested Thursday. They were each being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail Friday with bond set at $40,000 each.
