A large fire in St. Paul Park on Monday sent clouds of black smoke into the air and disrupted traffic on U.S. 61.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, the first call for help came in at about 4:20 p.m. Fire departments from four cities responded to the blaze.

The fire apparently involved sheds and storage buildings at 200 Hastings Ave. The area is home to several trucking companies, and near the Andeavor St. Paul Park Refinery.

There were no reported injuries related to the fire. No further information was available Monday evening.
