It appears as though Mucci’s is opening a second location in the former Meyvn space on Lake Street in Uptown.
Though owner Tim Niver has been coy about the St. Paul restaurant expanding westward, refusing to confirm it with local media, a sign has gone up outside the restaurant, which seems like pretty clear evidence of what is to come.
Bagel-focused modern deli Meyvn was also a Niver restaurant, but co-owned with chef Adam Eaton and general manager Laurel Elm. His partner at Mucci’s is chef Chris Uhrich.
Mucci’s, an Italian restaurant on Randolph Street in St. Paul, opened in 2016 to long lines that haven’t really let up. Funnily enough, the St. Paul location has accomplished this feat without a sign on the building.
