UPDATE: Secret Service visit home of activist who ‘glitter bombed’ Trump

A serial “glitter-bomber” from Minneapolis appears to have showered President Donald Trump during Thursday night’s Target Center rally.

Nick Espinosa of Minneapolis said he doused the president as he made his way to the stage. Espinosa tweeted a video, you can judge for yourself whether he hit his mark.

“Today I welcomed Donald Trump to Minneapolis the best way I know how, with a glitterbomb,” Espinosa said. “Whether attacking LGBTQ rights at the supreme court, locking kids in cages, or working with foreign governments to undermine our democracy, his hate and corruption knows no bounds.”

The act of glitter bombing became a popular protest prank during the 2002 presidential election, particularly by LGBT activists against candidates they viewed as unsympathetic.
