Notice of Public Hearing

A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Uinta County Courthouse, 225 9th Street, Evanston, Wyoming to solicit public comments regarding a proposed Abandoned Mine Lands Public Facilities grant.  Uinta County has been determined eligible to apply for AML grant funds by Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).  AML Public Facilities grant program is focused on assisting local communities and public entities to mitigate the impacts of historic coal and mineral mining and processing.  Uinta County Commission is seeking AML Public Facilities grant funds in order to design, purchase, and install grandstands at Uinta County Fairgrounds.

The Uinta County Commissioners met in regular session on June 4, 2019 in the commission chambers, 225 9th Street, Evanston, Wyoming.  Chairman Eric South convened meeting at 2:00 p.m.  Commissioners Mark Anderson and Craig Welling were present.  Also present: Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk.
