New York City woman's subway selfie photo shoot is peak self-confidence

A woman in New York took full advantage of her commute and had a solo photo shoot.

A woman had a full blown selfie photo shoot in a New York subway car and we are all here for that level of confidence.

Over the weekend, writer Ben Yahr posted a nowvideo he captured of the woman in a black dress, posing for a photo shoot with only her phone camera.

In the video, the woman who goes by Jess on Twitter, used her purse to prop her phone on the subway seat before she went to work. Sis hit all her angles. She served fierce looks. She even crouched down to get a glamour shot of her face.

Jess did all this in full view of the rest of the passengers, clearly not caring what they thought.

Twitter was in awe of this woman's confidence.

"I want to be this unbothered in life," wrote one user.

"Is this what it’s like to NOT have social anxiety," asked another Twitter user.

Some folks did think it was a bit strange to be preoccupied with taking pictures while commuting, while others wanted to see the final product, which did not disappoint.

Jess reposted Yahr's video and attached two of the photos she took on the train.

Jess has not responded to a request for comment from USA TODAY.
