A massive brawl erupted Saturday night at an amusement park in Missouri that included about 300 teenagers, police said.

An overwhelmed sheriff's deputy called in multiple agencies for backup as fights unfolded at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri, the Kansas City Star reported. The brawling occurred at around 9:30 p.m., a half-hour before the park's closing.

"People were going everywhere," Worlds of Fun employee Joshua Harris told KSHB-TV. "Some people were trying to find their sisters and their brothers, screaming, the park going crazy. Everybody was running places; cops were everywhere."

At least 10 to 15 different fights unfolded with "hundreds of kids streaming toward us," Madi-Lynn McDaniel, a local resident who regularly attends the park, told the Star. She shared footage of the ruckus on Facebook.

"Honest to god thought even we were going to get pepper sprayed," she said in the post. "No one could leave because of how big it was."

The brawl occurred outside of Camp Snoopy, a Peanuts-inspired park area of children's rides, WDAF-TV reported.

The footage online shows teens yelling and swarming among "about 20 cops," per McDaniels.

Police told the station an estimated 300 teenagers potentially entered the fray, with officers corralling masses of kids out of the park to wait for rides from their parents.

One person was cited for disturbing the police, Clay County Sheriff's Office said on Twitter. No injuries or arrests were made.

Worlds of Fun later issued a statement regarding "an altercation in the park last night."

"The altercation was broken up by local and park authorities and the guests were removed from the park," the statement said. "The safety and security of our guests and employees is at the core of what we do."
