A trip to Hawaii for only $6? It's real, thanks to Arby's (but hurry)

Want to go to Hawaii and only pay $6 to get there? You'll have Arby's to thank.

In coordination with its launch of a full lineup of King's Hawaiian Sandwiches, the restaurant chain will be selling $6 roundtrip tickets (aka the price of a sandwich) Friday, April 12 at 12 p.m. ET and Monday, April 15 at 12 p.m. ET. Those interested will have to hurry: It's first-come, first-serve with only 10 slots (five each offer period).

The approximate retail value of the prize, which includes roundtrip tickets to and from LAX and Hawaii as well as a Los Angeles hotel stay, is $2,700.

The winners will be flown to Los Angeles International Airport and leave for a six-hour Hawaii getaway from there. Arby's has yet to pick an airline for the promotion.

You'll want to check your calendar, though, as travelers have to go between April 26 and April 28, according to the fine print.

"Arby’s $6 Hawaiian Getaway flies you to Honolulu to see the sights — all three Arby’s King’s Hawaiian sandwiches," the contest's landing page notes. "No volcanoes. No pineapple farms. Just you, sweet buns, tender meats, and a Hawaiian paradise to eat them in."
