Police: Handguns stolen from Frankfort shop

Frankfort village police are investigating a reported break-in that took place early Thursday morning at a gun store in the village.

The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. when someone forced their way into The Gun Barn, at 311 E. Main St., and stole some handguns, said police Sgt. Michael Perritano.

Perritano could not comment on any suspects in the case, but asked for anyone with information or cameras on homes or businesses near The Gun Barn to contact Frankfort village police at 315-895-7566.
