Fit Kids registration is underway at Oneida Y

The Oneida YMCA is taking registration online for its Fit Kids program to get kids active.

Programs are available for ages 5-7 and 8 to 12.

Classes take place once per week outdoors for five weeks through Sept. 3.

Earlville Opera House 2020 cultural needs assessment

In an ongoing effort to improve its professional services to the regional arts field, and in collaboration with the Community Foundation for South Central New York, the Earlville Opera House is conducting a cultural needs assessment survey.

If you are a cultura organization, artist, teaching artist or involved with arts engagement as a part of your work, visit www.earlvilleoperahouse.com and answer 12 questions by Friday, Aug. 14.

The information provided will be used to help formulate regional cultural priorities and will be used to respond to both short and long-term needs of arts organizations and artists through tailored future funding opportunities.

Tour helps you discover fairy gardens in Frankfort

The Frankfort Public Library at 123 S. Frankfort St. is offering self-guided walking tours of fairy gardens and gnome homes, around the village Thursday, Aug. 13.

The list of participating locations will be available from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 13 at the library.
