NASHVILLE — A dozen adults and teenagers were arrested Monday after a brawl in a park here, according to the police.

At about 5:15 p.m., police officers responded to a fight at Beetree Park, according to a statement from the Nashville Police Department. Officers saw a crowd, with one individual being held back from fighting by others.

A witness told officers a fight with several people had taken place just moments before but it stopped and people began leaving when it became known police were on their way. Other witnesses and cellphone video evidence showed two separate fights simultaneously close to each other, each involving several people, according to the statement.

Officers learned this was a prearranged brawl organized to settle the score of another fight earlier that day at Berrien County High School. Police found there were three juveniles and at least eight adults participating in the fights, according to the statement.

According to the police, arrest warrants were obtained as follows;

• A 13-year-old male, battery and affray;

• A 15-year-old male, aggravated assault, battery, and affray;

• A 16-year-old female, battery and affray;

• Rachel Alexander, 32, two counts of cruelty to children third degree, plus battery, reckless conduct and affray;

• Lakeshia Clark, 27, two counts of cruelty to children third degree, plus battery, reckless conduct and affray;

• Rachel Clark, 65, five counts of cruelty to children third degree plus affray;

• Michelle Dean, 28, battery, reckless conduct and affray;

• Alicia Dean, 35, battery, reckless conduct and affray;

• Falicia Dean, 35, battery, reckless conduct and affray;

• Laura Dean, 37, two counts of cruelty to children third degree, plus battery, reckless conduct and affray;

• Kare Lewis, 17, battery and affray;

• Chadrick Williams, 17, battery and affray.

The investigation continues and is being sent to the district attorney and the Department of Juvenile Justice, according to the statement.
