Bismarck mobile home fire leaves 3 cats dead

Three cats have died in a fire at a Bismarck mobile home.

The Bismarck Fire Department says no people were home when smoke was reported coming from the unit just after 6 a.m. Saturday.

Firefighters were able to limit most of the damage to the kitchen but found the bodies of three cats during a search.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The damage is estimated at more than $30,000.
