Disc golfers from across the Dakotas and Minnesota hit the greens Saturday morning in south Fargo for a tournament.

It was hosted by Pixeled Brewing Company and the Cass Clay Disc Golf Club.

More than 30 people showed up at around 9 a.m. to play two rounds of 20 holes each at Iwen Park.

For those unfamiliar with disc golf, it’s similar to the sport of golf except there aren't balls and clubs.

“I've been playing this for about 15 years now, it's something that's growing,” Brant Crosby, who was playing with his friends, said. “It's been around for quite a few years now and it's getting bigger and bigger every year.”

Trollwood and Oak Grove are just a few of the Fargo parks that have disc golf courses available for the public.
