UPDATE: A Fargo man will spend the next 180 days in jail after he pleaded guilty to having a sexual conversation with an 8-year-old girl on Aug. 18.

36-year-old Jason Dvorak will serve time on one felony count of luring a minors and one misdemeanor count of possession of certain materials prohibited after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children gave Fargo Police a cyber tip.

Court documents say 36-year-old Jason Dvorak engaged in a sexual conversation with an 8-year-old girl on Aug. 18.

The messages provided by Facebook show Dvorak talking about the victim's private parts, and Dvorak later received explicit photos from the young girl. Documents say Dvorak later instructed the victim to delete all of her messages.

Police seized multiple electronic devices as well as clothing items at Dvorak's home.

Dvorak declined to speak with investigators. However, Dvorak's wife did speak with police and told them that she was aware Dvorak was going to try and bait the young girl into talking about her knowledge of sex.

Along with Dvorak's sentence, he will have to register as a sex offender. After his sentence, Dvorak will be on supervised probation for five years.
