UPDATE: After looking through Kenneth Zehnder's criminal history, we found this is not his first time dealing with the law.

Michigan court records say Zehnder was charged and plead guilty in 2003 to manslaughter with intent, but without malice.

Despite reaching out to multiple agencies in St. Clair County, Michigan, we were unable to obtain documents with the details of that case.

Zehnder ended up spending six years in prison for his manslaughter charge and officially ended parole in 2011.

A Michigan truck driver is charged with one felony count of Criminal Sex Conduct after an alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.

Court documents filed today say 34-year-old Kenneth George Zehnder is the suspect in Monday's short pursuit that ended on I-94 near Downer, Minn.

Documents say Otter Tail County officials received a text from the 15-year-old just before 10:30, saying Zehnder sexually assaulted her inside a semi at a truck stop in Stearns County.

The victim said Zehnder continued driving after the sexual assault, and a few hours later, the victim texted 911.

The victim went on to tell investigators that she and Zehnder had been travelling together in the semi over the last week and that additional sexual assaults occurred at various locations.

Zehnder was arrested during the traffic stop on Monday, and transferred to the Clay County Jail. He was then transferred to the Stearns County Jail Tuesday night.

A Stearns County judge set Zehnder's bail at $100,000 unconditional bail, or $40,000 conditional bail. If convicted, he could spend the next 30 years in prison.
