North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicle struck on I-94 over the Red River Bridge

A driver lost control and struck a North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicle Saturday afternoon.

A North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicle was parked on the north shoulder of I-94 westbound on the Red River Bridge, with emergency lights activated, providing traffic control at a crash.

The 1998 Chevrolet Malibu driven by 35-year-old Habibullah Hematzada, was westbound in the north lane, of I-94 when they lost control and struck the left side of the patrol car.

Neither driver was injured as a result of the crash. Both vehicles received minor damage.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash.
