Stolen West Fargo trailer found

A trailer stolen from a West Fargo contractor was found over the weekend but at least $19,000 worth of his equipment was taken.

The Dakota Carpentry Inc. trailer was found in south Fargo about ten blocks away from the job site hidden behind a building, according to Schmidt.

Schmidt estimated that he had about $30,000 worth of equipment in his trailer and the thieves managed to steal approximately $19,000 worth in what was mostly large tools.

Fargo police officers are still looking for the suspects who may have taken the trailer.

Schmidt said he feels relieved that he got the trailer and he thinks the theft was done by professionals due to how the trailer’s door was taken apart.
