Severe weather in the Valley with strong wind gusts overturned a camper on I-29 around 2 p.m. in Fargo.

Officials say Udean Sargent, 66, was traveling south on I-29 pulling a 5th wheel camper. He had reduced his speed due to poor visibility from heavy rain fall and extremely high wind gusts.

A strong wind gust then overturned the 5th wheel camper onto the driver side on top of the 13th Ave S overpass in Fargo.

After the crash, the vehicle remained on its wheels and the camper was still connected, blocking two lanes of traffic. I-29 had a lane reduction in this area for approximately 45 mins until the scene was cleared.

Both Sargent and his passenger, Brenda Sargent, were not injured in the crash.
