Atlanta author Darryl Farley’s first book “I Will Be Here” is an illustrated children’s book that is written from a Black father’s perspective, vowing to teach, motivate, listen and love his children as they grow older together in life.
Farley has said that the book is meant to “uplift Black fathers so they will be present and lead by example for our Black families.”
Farley joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes for a conversation about the book and the importance of fatherhood.
