Man who allegedly robbed Augusta Big Apple indicted by grand jury

A man accused of trying to rob a Big Apple store in Augusta has been formally charged.
Augusta Police say in February, 29-year-old Jesse Nichols went into the store on Civic Center Drive and demanded money.
A police officer in the area heard loud voices then saw a man running from the store followed by an employee.
Police say Nichols was caught shortly after that.
