Man in custody after barricading himself inside home for hours

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man is in custody after a multi-hour standoff at a home in Baton Rouge.
At around 6:30 a.m., officers were called out to a home in the 100 block on S. 10th Street about a domestic dispute.
A man, later identified as 36-year-old John Allen, and a woman had been arguing and Allen had a gun at the time, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
The woman was able to safely get out of the home, but Allen had barricaded himself in the home.
Allen was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated assault and domestic abuse with child endangerment.
