Man arrested after allegedly shooting his father in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A son is now behind bars for allegedly shooting his father in Baton Rouge.

On Friday, Oct. 4, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office reported Charles Lee Brown, 33, was arrested for reportedly shooting his father. The incident happened Friday, Sept. 27 around 5 p.m. in the 10700 block of Northdale Drive off Foster Road in the Brownfields area.

The father is expected to survive his injuries, EBRSO officials say.

Brown was taken into custody thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip. He was arrested at a vacant house in the 4000 block of Winnebago Street, EBRSO says.
