A 38-year-old man has died after the quad bike he was riding crashed on a country road.

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after the single-vehicle crash on an unclassified road near the village of Cilycwm on Saturday.

The crash happened at around 10.35pm, and the local man, who has been named as Lloyd Price Jones, was taken to the Heath Hospital in Cardiff with serious injuries, but he died there yesterday.

Police are hoping to hear from anyone who saw the red Honda quad bike being ridden prior to or at the time of the crash on the road towards Rhandirmwyn.
