A body has been found in Roath Park Lake in Cardiff after police were told somebody entered the water in the early hours of the morning.
Witnesses said they saw several police vehicles at the park at around 4.30pm on Thursday including a specialist search unit and divers.
A forensic tent has also been set up near to the lake.
A spokeswoman from South Wales Police later confirmed a body had been found and said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
She said: "Specialist police officers have been searching Roath Park Lake after receiving reports of someone having entered the lake at around 3am this morning.
"A body has been located and has been recovered.
"Next of kin have been informed and formal identification has taken place.
"The matter is not being treated as suspicious and a file of evidence will be prepared for HM Coroner."

Witnesses said there are several police vehicles in attendance including divers and a forensic tent.

A spokesperson from South Wales Police said:
“Police have responded to reports of a someone having entered Roath Park Lake in the early hours of this morning. A search of the Lake is taking place.”
