Stoke in for Hart

Stoke City are set to launch a bid for Joe Hart this summer.

According to reports on Friday morning, the Potters are eyeing the former England international as a potential replacement for Jack Butland, who is continually linked with a move to the Premier League.

Hart is currently at Burnley, but is expected to leave this summer, after becoming his side’s third-choice stopper.

Phillips wanted

Leeds United will demand £20million before even considering selling Kalvin Phillips this summer.

Aston Villa are busy preparing a bid of £14million for the versatile man - but the Mirror report that will be rejected out of hand.

Leeds consider Phillips one of their most valuable assets.

Villa keen on Kent

Aston Villa have expressed an interest in Liverpool starlet Ryan Kent.

Kent spent last season on loan with Steven Gerrard's Rangers. Leeds have had a bid rejected for the youngster, while Middlesbrough are also keen.

Millwall have placed a £2.5m bid for Portsmouth winger Jamal Lowe.

According to the Mirror, Lowe is keen to depart Fratton Park after his side failed to secure promotion to the Championship last season.

The bid is believed to be the second the Lions have placed for the 24-year-old, who is also reportedly wanted by Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic.

Wolves out of Rondon race

Wolves have pulled out of the race to sign West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.

According to reports, the Wanderers have ended their interest in the Venezuelan due to the cost of the deal.

The forward spent last season on loan at Newcastle United, and has been linked with a host of clubs so far this summer.

Baggies' Bilic eyes first signing

While newly appointed Albion manager Slaven Bilic is hoping to make Tolgay Arslan his first summer signing.

The former West Ham and Croatia boss was named as the Baggies’ new manager on Thursday, and will be looking to assemble a squad ready for a promotion push this season.

And according to oversees reports, Arslan, a central-midfielder, is on Albion’s radar.

Woodgate in at Boro

Jonathan Woodgate has been named the new head coach of Middlesbrough.

The 39-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Boro, and replaces Tony Pulis who left the club following the conclusion of the Championship season.

Woodgate will be assisted by Robbie Keane, Leo Percovich and Danny Coyne at the Riverside.

Hoops make first signing

QPR have completed the signing of Liam Kelly from Livingston.

The goalkeeper joins the R’s for an undisclosed fee, having made 40 appearances in last season’s SPL.

The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Rangers, before joining Livi last summer.
