It may only be August but Swansea has already seen some great new restaurants opening in the city.

From Italian to burger bars - you definitely have a lot of choice when it comes to eating out.

Here's a look at the venues we have gained so far this year.

The Secret Beach Bar & Kitchen

The Secret Beach Bar & Kitchen has only just opened in the city.

The revamped venue,  which is on the beachfront, has replaced the former 360 cafe.

The expanded venue has a main restaurant with a bar, a cafe bar with an area for dogs, a new entrance foyer and large outdoor seating area.

The restaurant serves a variety of food, including breakfast and lunch, as well as an evening menu.

Swansea City legend Leon Britton was due to oversee a sports academy at the St Helen's venue while business partners Ryan Hole and Lucy Hole run the new-look restaurant and coffee bar. However, the 36-year-old was appointed football adviser to the Swans board.
