A Welsh national park has been named as one of the top 10 ultimate travel experiences in the UK.
Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has made the top 10 of the Lonely Planet's ultimate UK travelist, which ranks the top 500 unmissable experiences and hidden gems across Britain and Northern Ireland.
The south-western shore attraction is Britain's only truly coastal national park, covering 240 square miles of sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, secluded rocky coves and hundreds of miles of footpaths.
The area also features Iron Age hill forts, Norman castles, medieval churches and Victorian forts as it stretches across numerous historic towns and villages.
Describing the national park, the guide calls it a "ravishing stretch of cliff-flanked coves, thrashing seas, wildflower-freckled moors and hedgerowed tracks leading to one-pub villages".
A total of 47 Welsh sights and experiences made the list, ranging from taking on Snowdon to squeezing into the country's smallest house in Conwy.
Other highlights from around Wales that have made the cut include gasping at the coastlines of the Gower peninsula, making a pilgrimage out west to St David's Cathedral, visiting the National Botanic Garden of Wales and diving into the World Bog Snorkelling Championships in Llanwrtyd Wells.
Lonely Planet's vice-president of experience, Tom Hall, said: "Lonely Planet's Ultimate United Kingdom Travelist brings together the UK's most compelling sights and experiences, ranging from world-class museums and giant cathedrals to rollicking festivals, inky lochs and tiny pubs.
"We're thrilled to name the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park one of the UK's very best experiences - it offers staggering beauty, adventure and a wonderful escape."
Topping the list is the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, while Stonehenge, Giant's Causeway and the Tate Modern also make the top 10.
