JOSH Amis scored a hat-trick as Warrington Town hit seven for the second time in a week in their latest pre-season win.

After beating Skelmersdale United 7-0 on Tuesday night, the Yellows beat Wythenshawe Town 7-1 on Saturday to prepare nicely for their high profile friendly with Football League side Accrington Stanley on Monday.

New signing Alex Byrne scored a brace and also had a telling part in forcing Wythenshawe to score an own goal.

The other came from Jack Mackreth from the penalty spot.

The Yellows once again gave a number of trialists a run out as Paul Carden looks to bolster his squad before the season opener at home to Morpeth Town on August 17.
