Montana Gov. Steve Bullock teased a 2020 presidential run on Saturday, promising to position himself in a crowded Democratic field as the only candidate who can win the support of rural America.

“Coming soon, the only Democratic contender who won a Trump state will make a big announcement,” reads the narration in a video posted to Bullock’s Twitter account. The 39-second video urges viewers to “be the first to know” about his plans by visiting stevebullock.com.

Bullock, 53, is a two-term governor of a state that President Trump won by 20 points.

A former state attorney general, Bullock highlighted his progressive credentials in the video.

He’s also supported an assault weapons ban. Bullock would join a lengthy list of Democrats promising to earn the support of Trump voters in rural areas, including former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, and Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper.
