Police search for suspect in Seattle train station shooting that left one dead and others injured

.

Police in Seattle are searching for the suspect in a shooting at a local light rail station that left one person dead and two others injured on Friday night.

Law enforcement did not believe the shooting was random and that it was the result of a dispute that began on the street and continued into the station. Authorities noted that the suspect fled on foot.

Seattle Police Detective Mark Jamieson said that all three male victims were transported from Westlake Station in downtown Seattle after the shooting. One of them died while in medical care. It was not immediately clear what relationship the victims had to the shooter.

Witnesses claimed that the shooter began shouting at the victims before opening fire. Police are said to be reviewing security tapes as they continue the manhunt for the shooting suspect.
