Employee stabbed at restaurant in Old Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – An employee was stabbed while working at a restaurant in Old Louisville.
The stabbing was reported at Burger Boy, located at 1450 South Brook Street, around 8:55 a.m. Monday, according to Louisville Metro Police Department spokesman Dwight Mitchell.
Mitchell said there was an altercation between the employee and the suspect. The suspect stabbed the employee then left.
The employee was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with what Mitchell said appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
The stabbing remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous police tip line at (502) 574-LMPD.
