VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Firefighters responded to an unoccupied house on fire Sunday evening.
Fire officials say crews from Virginia Beach and Chesapeake Fire departments responded to the fire in the 1800 block of Wingate Court at 8:33 p.m.
Crews found heavy, thick smoke showing when they arrived on scene. The fire was marked under control 20 minutes later.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
