VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Police say a teenager was charged with murder after a 21-year-old man was found dead August 1 on Queens Way on Virginia Beach.
According to police, officers got the call for the incident around 9:45 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Queens Way.
Initial investigation suggested that the incident started off as a domestic situation, police say. When police arrived they found the victim, Kieran Marvin Powell, of Virginia Beach, dead at the scene.
Police said the incident was still under investigation, but a teenaged juvenile known to the victim was arrested and charged with murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
