Tuesday was the first day back for students of the University of Florida and Santa Fe College.

More than 15,000 students were on the college campus.

Santa Fe administrators say drivers may be experiencing more traffic around the college than normal.

"But we're going to get used to it in a couple of days so those people that have been living here, they know this is just how it goes and it seems like a big change because the students weren’t here but in a week or two this will be a new norm," Vice President of Student Affairs Naima Brown said.

Brown also says she wants to encourage students to pay attention to school bus laws when driving to class.

The college is also kicking off a new academic coaching program this semester.
